How Spin CRM differs from an off-the-shelf CRM
Ten places where the difference shows in the first week of work — and a few where it is only fair to say we are not for you.
International CRMs do one thing well: the sales pipeline. After that begins everything a Lithuanian company needs every day — invoices, accounting, banking, signatures, inventory — and each of them needs a separate program or a middleman. Spin CRM was built from the other end: from the whole chain.
| Area | A typical off-the-shelf CRM | Spin CRM |
|---|---|---|
| Lithuanian accounting | None, or through a middleman | Direct Rivilė, Finvalda and Robolabs sync more |
| Banking | Manual statement import | Automatic bank statement retrieval over PSD2 more |
| Invoices | A separate application | A full invoicing module with LT, LV and EE PDFs, series and late payment interest |
| Payments | None | A payment link and QR code inside the invoice PDF itself more |
| Electronic signature | A separate tool | Smart-ID and mobile signature on the document record more |
| Inventory | None | Bin locations, production, stocktaking and stock levels on the sales line |
| Customer messages | A separate tool for every channel | One inbox: email, Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, website chat more |
| Company data | Entered by hand | Company details, financial statements, debts and history from state registers |
| Telephony | Through an intermediate automation tool | Tele2, Bitė and Peoplefone with a live call card |
| Customisation | Limited | Your own fields, your own PDF templates, your own automations, a custom layer |
Moving from your current system
You move with your data, not from a blank page. We migrate companies, contacts, products and history together during rollout.
When Spin CRM is not the best choice
A rollout that starts with a customer who had to be talked into it ends with a cancelled contract. So we say these cases up front.
You only need a sales pipeline
If invoices, inventory and documents play no part in your business, a narrower tool will be simpler and cheaper. The chain only makes sense when it is really there.
You work only outside the Baltics
Our strongest part is Lithuanian accounting, registers, banks and Smart-ID. In a market without them, some of the advantage goes unused.
You need SLA contracts with automatic escalation
We have priorities, stages and deadline control, but not full SLA management. If service is your main product, that may be too little.
You are looking for payroll
The people module covers records, schedules and document expiry, but not payroll — that stays with your accounting software.
You want AI to answer customers for you
Today AI removes the manual work, but it does not email customers behind your back. That is a deliberate decision, not a gap.
You want to roll it out yourself, with no conversation
The system can be tried out on your own, but integrations and customisation are set up together. Without that step you are left with an empty screen and a lot of buttons.
Is it hard to move from our current system?
We import companies, contacts, products and history from Excel or over the API; for HannaCRM, PanteraCRM and Scoro we have ready-made migration tools. We prepare the file for you.
How long does rollout take?
In simple cases you start working the same day. With integrations and customisation — usually 1–3 weeks.
Can we start with a single module?
Yes, and most do: you start with the CRM and switch on inventory or service a year later — with no data to move anywhere.
What happens to our data if we decide to leave?
The data stays yours. It can be exported to Excel or collected over the open REST API.
