Artificial intelligence in Spin CRM
Artificial intelligence works with your data, but not in your place — it replaces manual work, not your decisions.
Spin CRM AI doesn't make decisions for people. It takes away whatever eats the most time and is easiest to get wrong — entering documents, sorting emails, searching for data, drafting replies. And a person reviews every result before it's saved.
What AI already does today
Purchase document scanning
You drag in a PDF, a Word file or a photo, the system recognises the supplier, the document number, the dates, the amounts, the VAT and the lines, and you confirm the whole thing.
Purchases
A service ticket from an email
The system evaluates an incoming email — whether it's a real request, its topic and priority — and turns it into an incident with an owner.
Service, chosen mailboxes
Contact extraction from an email
The name, job title, phone number and company are recognised from the signature or the body, and the system offers to create a contact.
Automatic form filling
You paste in text — an enquiry, company details or an email — and it sorts itself into the form fields; nothing needs retyping by hand.
Any form in the system
Task extraction from text
Individual pieces of work are picked out of meeting notes or an email and offered as tasks.
Tasks
AI connector: questions in plain language
You connect an AI assistant to your CRM and ask about customers, deals, invoices or stock — and the answers come straight from your real data.
Seventeen data areas
AI connector
Ask your CRM in plain language
Instead of filling in a report form, you just ask a question. The AI connector sees your data read-only, and only as far as your permissions allow.
What else you can ask
- which deals have not moved in the pipeline for more than a month?
- how much did we close in August and what was the average margin?
- which products have fewer than ten units in stock?

What we are building next
The conversation thread can already tell whether a message was written by a customer, an employee, the system or AI, and every conversation has an "off / suggest / reply" mode. Because the AI layer sits above all channels at once, switching it on would make it work across every one of them at the same time.
A draft reply in the inbox
AI would read the conversation thread and the customer's history, then suggest a reply that the employee would just tweak and send.
The foundation is there — the "suggest" mode
Conversation summary
When a colleague takes over a thread, a long conversation condenses down to a few sentences.
The foundation is there
A first reply outside working hours
The first reply would come from your knowledge base; if the customer sent a second message in a row, the conversation would be handed to a person.
The "reply" mode is provided for
Automatic ticket routing
The system suggests the topic, priority and responsible department on its own.
Part of this already works in email
Knowledge base answers
AI would answer based on your FAQ and documents, and point to the source the answer came from.
The FAQ module exists
A draft quote or email
Based on the customer record, AI would draft a cover note for a quote or a sequence email.
The template and sequence engine exists
These features don't work yet, and we're not promising dates. We write about them because the foundations for them already exist — and selling what doesn't exist is a different thing from simply saying where we're headed.
Limits
What we do not do with artificial intelligence
AI does not email your customer behind your back
Automatic replying is switched on deliberately and separately, and by default it is off.
AI does not bypass permissions
It sees exactly as much as that same person would see at that moment, not one line more.
Public models are not trained on your data
Only what a specific action requires travels to the model.
AI works where a mistake is cheap and visible
A draft, a suggestion, data entry — yes. Money, permissions and deletion — no.
Every AI action can be traced
You can see that it was AI and not a person. Usage accounting shows how much is used and by whom.
AI can be switched off completely
The system works exactly the same without it. It is a switch, not a foundation.
Does my data travel to an AI model?
Only what's needed for that specific action. Public models are never trained on your data.
Can AI break anything?
It can't. The AI connector is read-only — it can't change or delete anything. A scanned document is confirmed by a person before it's saved.
Will AI see things an employee is not allowed to see?
It won't. The same permissions apply: AI sees exactly as much as the same person would see at that moment.
Is AI mandatory?
It isn't. It's turned on separately in settings and can be switched off any time — the system works exactly the same without it.
Which languages does it work in?
Lithuanian and English; document scanning also works with other languages.
